Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church
As in the past, we’ll have Soup and Bread Suppers before the midweek Lenten services. As we have done for the past couple years, these suppers will begin on Ash Wednesday. Plan on joining us at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays starting on February 14 (Ash Wednesday). The soup is good and hot, the bread is delicious, and the fellowship is awesome! There will be a sign-up sheet available in the back of the church to volunteer to bring soup and/or bread.
Every morning (except Sundays) at 7:00 a.m. starting Ash Wednesday (February 14) we will gather for Morning Prayer. This service takes about 20 minutes and includes brief Scripture readings as well as corporate prayer. Again this year, we will pray for every member of the congregation by name during Lenten Morning Prayer. Morning Prayer happens in Pastor’s office at the Church except on Mondays when we gather at Panera Bread.
Midweek services every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. after Ash Wednesday feature the “Hidden with Christ” format many have found meaningful. Along with Homilies based on "The Seven Lasts Words of Jesus."
