CELC Staff

The Rev. Breonna E.T. Roberts (she/her) has served as pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church since April 2021. Pastor Bre received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona and worked in a cancer pharmacology research laboratory at the Arizona Cancer Center before seminary. She is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California. Pastor Bre is passionate about proclaiming in word and deed the kin-dom of God of which Mary sang in the Magnificat. She is married to Ryan, a fellow ELCA pastor and also Lutheran Franciscan, and together they co-parent two charmingly ordinary pastors’ kids as well as wait on Drizzt and GiGi, the family’s cats. Pastor Bre likes to quilt and garden and her hair color is always exciting.

Missy Zaetz is the part time Office Administrator at CELC. She is the person who will greet you at the door and help support your ministry. Missy has many years of church office management experience and was the Director of Operations at Abundant Life Church. She has a BA in Religious Education and a Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education. She loves to sing, teach, and birdwatch. Her purpose is to serve Jesus by serving you.

Cindy Berger is the Director of Traditional Worship at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) with almost 40 years working in this capacity with various churches.  Her longest tenure has been with CELC. She brings her minor of music and love for music to serve in this capacity with her CELC church family.
